Mountain Bike Skills Coaching from the Experts | Surrey Hills - Just one hour South-West of London | 0333 12 12 125
Do you find the suspension, transmission and braking systems on your bike an impenetrable mixture of cables, hoses, adjustment screws, dials and widgets? How would you like to know how to set-up and tune each of these elements so they work perfectly and know how to fix them when they go wrong?
Our Mountain Bike Maintenance Day course will give you the skills to set-up these key systems and ensure that they are tuned correctly for your height, weight and riding style.
We'll spend the morning fettling suspension, brakes and gears and then after lunch we'll set off on a two hour guided ride where we'll look at how to recover from mechanicals including fixing tubed and tubeless punctures, replacing brake pads, repairing broken chains and straightening a buckled wheel.
After the course you'll have the optimum riding position and suspension set-up, plus you'll be able to index your gears perfectly, sort out common brake issues and prepare your bike so it gives you the very best performance out on the trails.
You'll also know which tools and spares to carry and you'll feel confident fixing a variety of mechanical issues whilst far from the bike shop.
The organisation and delivery of the course was excellent. We shall certainly look to book more later in the year
