General mountain bike skills coaching courses
For those new to coaching it's best to start with one of our general Singletrack Skills courses; The Fundamentals, if you're a beginner or have only been riding a short time, or Singletrack Improver if you're more confident and already have a few years under your belt.
There are three levels to progress through.
You don't have to start with level 1, but some students get more out of the higher level courses if they iron out problems with their fundamentals first.

Women's general mountain bike skills coaching courses
We now offer our first two Singletrack Skills courses in women only groups. Each is run once a month in The Surrey Hills.
Multi-day mountain bike skills courses
For those looking to advance their skills rapidly we have a selection of two day skills courses which are designed to help you progress quickly through our Singletrack Skills course programme.
- Fast-track Singletrack Skills
Level 1 two day course for rookies and improvers looking to advance their skills rapidly
- Mountain Bike Improver
Level 2 two day course for intermediate improvers looking to take their skills to the next level for trail centre riding and beyond
- Advanced Improver
Level 3 two day course for advanced improvers looking to improve their skills ready for The Alps or UK trail centres
Women's multi-day mountain bike skills courses
For women looking to advance their skills rapidly we have a selection of two day skills courses which are designed to help you progress quickly through our Singletrack Skills course programme.
What to expect from your course
At Singletrack School our highly experienced coaches use the very latest coaching techniques to help you get the most out of your course.
We use a progressive approach to skills building to ensure that each new skill is perfected before we add the next level of complexity. Feedback is given on a group and individual basis by your coach who may, where appropriate, utilise video coaching for more effective analysis of your riding style.
We usually run courses with small groups of students with a ratio of 3-6 riders to each coach; although some more advanced courses and courses are restricted to a maximum of four or five students per coach.
So whether you're interested in just keeping up with your mates, riding competitively or getting out for epic adventures, we have the skills to get you riding faster, safer and with more confidence.
